Configure a custom API key in Cursor

Cursor supports a custom API key and base URL. Point them at LowCostAI to use low-cost models.

Configure in three steps

Everything happens in Cursor's settings panel.

Step 1

Create an API key

Create a key and set its quota.

Step 2

Open Cursor settings

Go to Settings → Models and fill in the base URL and key.

Step 3

Verify and use

Click Verify, then start using it.

The base URL is shown in the dashboard; model names match what the server supports.
